I wanted to produce a snapshot of the philosophy and practice of a Probation Officer in the 1960’s amplified by anecdotes and personal experiences. It is a very narrow area of interest and I had no idea how to get the work published and I recognised that it is unlikely to be a big seller.
I was terrified when a friend spent several thousands in self-publishing a book and would have given up had I not stumbled across PublishNation on the internet.

However, the jewel in the crown was the final email which, apart from the invoice for services which I happily paid, included an extremely helpful explanation of all I had to do as a publisher with links to accounts created for me by PublishNation. I would never have managed without this.
