By the time I had discovered PublishNation I had completed the text of my book. I handed over the draft and PublishNation were able to put everything together in a timely and efficient way.
David always answered any emails I sent either the same day or the next day. He made a few suggestions and was able to direct me to a book cover picture. PublishNation added the final touches to the front and back covers and I think it stands out.
I found ordering a proof copy was invaluable, being of the ‘old school’, as it allowed me to read my almost finished book as if I was doing so for the first time. In turn, that allowed me to pick up and correct the few remaining typos.
David suggested retail prices (I’d add, think of a fair price you want to market your book at). Then, the book was published in paperback and Kindle format.
The whole process was straightforward, even for someone who did not grow up with the internet. In addition, the Writers Guide sent, contains all the useful and practical information you need after the book is published.
