"Having written a book forty-odd years ago, I decided to have a go at getting it published as an activity in my retirement. I researched various ways of doing this on the internet, including costs and decided self-publishing with PublishNation was the easiest way of doing this, at a reasonable cost. The process proved straightforward with David guiding me effortlessly through it, ensuring I was happy with the finished product. For this book, I didn't take advantage of the marketing services offered, although the free promotion on Kindle was very worthwhile, enabling family and friends to obtain a copy. I enjoyed the process of editing and in some cases rewriting sections of the book, bearing in mind I'd last looked at it so long ago. Therefore, I'm writing another as a hobby, which I find very satisfying. The information for authors on the PublishNation website is well ordered, easy to access and helpful. I will definitely use PublishNation again, as it's writing which interests me, not the mechanics of trying to self-publish using the online tools available from Amazon and others. This time I will use the marketing services in an attempt to stimulate more sales!"
"My experience with PublishNation has been excellent. As this was my first book, I had no knowledge whatsoever in how the publishing process worked. David made the entire project nothing short of seamless. I found the level of service better than I ever imagined, as nothing at all was too much trouble, any question or concern I had was always met with a friendly, timely and informative response. Any further books I write I will certainly be using them again."
"My experience of self-publishing with PublishNation was smooth and stress-free from start to finish. My emails were answered rapidly by David, who was consistently helpful, professional and unflappable. I particularly recommend the critique and proof reading services - I was glad I used both. It is worth having a professional to look over your work, as you can miss things easily. I was impressed by the high level of attention to detail from the editor. Costs are very reasonable for the high quality of service and I am pleased with the outcome. Honestly, I can't fault the service all round. I would use PublishNation again."
"The expression keeping a dog and doing your own barking came to mind when I had finished writing 'Ladbrokes On And Off The Rails'. I knew nothing whatsoever about self-publishing, and very soon realised that it was a silly idea to even contemplate doing it myself. Google produced a list of many firms which could do what I thought I needed, and for no apparent reason PublishNation seemed to rise to the top of the list. Having contacted David Morrison, I decided that I would look no further. He and Gwen seemed the ideal people to take the book in its existing state and see it through to the end. And so it has turned out. Whichever criteria I set, whether it was experience, cost or results, or even the ability to pick and choose various modules, there was PublishNation at the top. Whatever I needed, they could do, and at a very reasonable charge. I have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone who finds themselves in the same set of circumstances as I did. After all, writers should write and publishers should publish. Or, as we used to say at Ladbrokes, 'horses for courses'."
"My publishing journey was punctuated with surprises, joy, and excitement. Gwen at PublishNation took on the full carriage of responsibility for my children's story book, George The Wombat Thief. From my first email to the final draft of the book, I was astonished to see how fast and professionally the book was assembled. The schematic design and attractive lay out of the book, the care and quality in ensuring the illustrations were assembled and captured in the vibrant and ambient light, to the overall quality of the book, and to painstakingly answering my emails, has left me in awe of Gwen's highly competent and professional service. Besides this wonderful service, Gwen has a lovely pleasant manner. She is sensitive to her customers, and assisted me at every step during the publishing journey. She kept me very well informed, and took care of my book as if it were her very own. I feel humbled and honoured to have received such fine professional care from Gwen. Towards the end, David came upon the scene and took full care and responsibility for marketing my book. My book is receiving maximum coverage to a wide audience around the globe. I celebrate my good fortune in having my book, George The Wombat Thief, published by PublishNation. To those authors considering their choices, PublishNation is a MUST. Thank you PublishNation. Forever grateful."
